In the twilight’s gentle sway, a tale unfolds,
Of a lone leaf, clinging tight, against the cold.
A symphony of seasons, a dance with fate,
As nature weaves its tapestry, both delicate and great.

Oh, last leaf, resolute in your defiance,
A whispered remnant of summer’s vibrant alliance.
Amidst the barren boughs, you persist,
A testament to strength, in the midst of nature’s twist.

Winter winds howl, seeking to snatch you away,
Yet you hold on, refusing to sway.
A warrior of perseverance, against the odds,
A sentinel of hope, in the face of winter’s facade.

Through autumn’s farewell, you shimmered in gold,
A blaze of colors, stories yet untold.
But as your comrades descended, one by one,
You clung to life, until you were the chosen one.

Each day, the sun rises and paints the sky,
And there you stand, with resolve, oh so high.
A solitary figure, against the gray expanse,
A symbol of endurance, in life’s intricate dance.

What secrets do you hold, oh last leaf of the tree?
What tales of strength and courage do you carry with thee?
In your veins, the whispers of countless years,
The echoes of laughter, and unshed tears.

As spring’s tender touch caresses the land,
And new life blossoms, hand in hand,
You linger still, a silent survivor,
A guardian of memories, keeping them alive forever.

Oh, last leaf, when your time finally comes,
And nature’s symphony of change succumbs,
Know that you have left an indelible mark,
A testament to the beauty found in the dark.

For you have taught us, in your quiet way,
That even in endings, there’s beauty to sway.
A single leaf, but a story profound,
Forever etched in hearts, your presence profound.

Believe in Yourself – Power of Inspiration

Once upon a time, there was a young girl named Sarah who was feeling down and discouraged. She had been working hard towards her goals but it seemed like nothing was going right. She felt like giving up and wondered if all her hard work was worth it.

As she was walking down the street, feeling lost and defeated, she saw a man holding a sign that read, “Believe in yourself, anything is possible.” Sarah couldn’t help but stop and think about those words.

Suddenly, a gust of wind blew the man’s sign and it landed right in front of Sarah’s feet. She picked it up and felt a surge of inspiration. She knew that she had to believe in herself and keep pushing towards her goals.

With renewed energy, Sarah continued on her day with a new perspective. She started to see opportunities where she once saw obstacles and began to take action towards her dreams.

A few weeks later, Sarah landed her dream job and felt like she was finally on the right path. She realized that sometimes all it takes is a little inspiration to turn things around.

From that day forward, Sarah always remembered the man with the sign and how his words helped her when she needed it the most. She made a promise to herself to always believe in herself and to never give up on her dreams.

The moral of the story is that sometimes all it takes is a little inspiration to turn things around. So if you’re feeling down or discouraged today, remember to believe in yourself, stay positive, and never give up on your dreams. Anything is possible if you just believe.

Last Call With My Friend – a true story.

It was a bright and sunny day, and I was sitting on my front porch enjoying the warm weather. Suddenly, my phone rang, and I picked it up without looking at the caller ID.

“Hello?” I answered.

“Hey, it’s me,” a familiar voice replied. It was my best friend from college, who I hadn’t spoken to in years.

“Wow, it’s been a long time,” I said, smiling.

“Yeah, too long,” he replied. “Listen, I’m calling because I need to talk to you about something important.”

“Sure, what’s up?” I asked.

“I’m sick,” he said, his voice cracking. “Really sick. And the doctors say it’s not looking good.”

I felt my heart drop into my stomach. “I’m so sorry,” I said. “What can I do to help?”

“I don’t know,” he replied. “I just wanted to hear your voice, one last time. You were always the one who knew how to make me laugh, even when things were tough.”

Tears welled up in my eyes as I listened to him speak. I couldn’t believe that this was going to be our last conversation.

“I’m glad I could make you laugh,” I said, my voice trembling. “But don’t talk like that. You’re going to beat this, I know it.”

There was a long pause on the other end of the line. Finally, my friend spoke again. “I don’t think I am,” he said softly. “But that’s okay. I’ve made my peace with it.”

I didn’t know what to say. I felt helpless, knowing that there was nothing I could do to change the situation. All I could do was be there for him, in whatever way he needed.

We talked for a little while longer, reminiscing about old times and sharing stories from our lives. It was a bittersweet conversation, filled with both joy and sorrow.

Eventually, my friend had to go. “I’m tired,” he said. “But I wanted to say goodbye, one last time.”

I felt a lump in my throat as I said goodbye. “I love you,” I said, my voice shaking.

“I love you too,” he replied.

And with that, the call ended. I sat there on my porch, holding the phone in my hand, feeling numb. I knew that I would never hear his voice again, and it was a feeling that I couldn’t quite put into words.

But as the days and weeks passed, I realized that my friend had given me a gift. He had reminded me of the importance of the people in my life, and how much they mean to me. And even though he was gone, his memory would live on, in the stories we shared and the laughter we had together.

That was my last call with my friend, but it was a conversation that I would never forget.

The Heavenly Hell – Pranav Mishra

In the depths of the darkest night
A vision came into my sight
Of a place that was both dark and bright
A land of wonder and of fright

The sky was black as coal at first
But then, with colors it was burst
A vivid tapestry of light
That danced and swirled in brilliant flight

And yet, amidst this wondrous scene
There was a feeling, cold and mean
A sense of foreboding, of dread
That hung above my trembling head

For though the sky was bright and bold
The land below was barren, cold
A landscape scarred by fire and ice
A place of beauty, but of vice

This was the place where angels fell
Where heaven met the flames of hell
A place of contrasts, light and dark
A world that left its telling mark

And though this place was strange and wild
It drew me in, just like a child
For in its beauty, dark and bright
I saw the struggle of my own plight

The balance of good and bad
The light and dark, the happy, sad
The push and pull of life’s great force
All woven in a single course

And so I stood in this strange place
Awe-struck by its heavenly grace
And though it left me feeling small
It reminded me of life’s great thrall

Loneliness

Loneliness is a heavy cloak,
That settles on my shoulders like smoke,
It wraps around me like a shroud,
A silent, suffocating cloud.

In the stillness of the night,
When the stars are shining bright,
I am left with my own thoughts,
A prisoner of the things I’ve wrought.

The world around me carries on,
But I am frozen, like a dawn,
That never breaks into the day,
But fades and withers, swept away.

In the midst of all the noise,
I am lost in my own poise,
A soul adrift on a lonely sea,
With no compass or guide to set me free.

Yet even in this darkest hour,
There is a glimmer of a flower,
A fragile hope that shines so bright,
And fills my heart with gentle light.

For in my solitude, I find,
A deeper peace within my mind,
A quiet space to hear my heart,
And find the strength to make a fresh start.

So let the loneliness fade away,
As I embrace a brand new day,
And let my spirit rise and soar,
Toward the dreams that I adore.

“Dust Child” is a collection of poetry by the Vietnamese writer Nguyen Phan Que Mai. The poems in the book deal with a range of themes, including love, loss, memory, war, and the experiences of women.

The book is divided into three sections: “The Light,” “The Dark,” and “The Dust.” The first section focuses on the beauty and joy of life, with poems that celebrate love, nature, and the power of human connection. The second section delves into darker and more difficult subjects, such as the trauma of war, the pain of loss, and the struggle for survival. The final section, “The Dust,” explores themes of mortality, impermanence, and the fragility of life.

Overall, the poems in “Dust Child” are hauntingly beautiful and deeply emotional. Nguyen Phan Que Mai has a gift for evoking powerful imagery and capturing complex emotions in simple yet profound language. Her writing is both personal and universal, speaking to the experiences of individuals while also touching on larger societal and cultural issues.

One of the standout poems in the collection is “The Ghosts of My Lai,” which explores the legacy of the infamous My Lai massacre during the Vietnam War. The poem is a haunting meditation on the human cost of war, and the way that violence and trauma can reverberate across generations. Other notable poems include “The Women,” which pays tribute to the resilience and strength of Vietnamese women, and “The Arrival,” which captures the sense of hope and possibility that comes with new beginnings.

In short, “Dust Child” is a powerful and moving collection of poetry that offers a glimpse into the complexities of Vietnamese life and culture, while also speaking to universal human experiences of love, loss, and longing. It is a must-read for anyone interested in contemporary Vietnamese literature, as well as for fans of poetry that explores the deeper layers of the human experience.

Midnight Dream Horror Story 👺

Offer on Amazon,, MUST BUY

It was midnight, and I had just fallen asleep. As I drifted off into dreamland, I found myself in a dark forest. The moon was full and bright, casting eerie shadows all around me. The trees rustled in the wind, and the night was filled with the sound of crickets chirping. I walked deeper into the woods, my heart pounding in my chest.

Suddenly, I heard a twig snap behind me. I turned around, but no one was there. I shrugged it off and kept walking, but the feeling of being watched wouldn’t go away. It felt like something was following me, stalking me from the shadows.

I quickened my pace, but the path seemed to stretch on forever. The trees grew taller and closer together, blocking out more and more of the moonlight. I stumbled and fell, scraping my hands on the rough forest floor. When I looked up, I saw a figure standing over me, its face hidden in shadow.

I tried to scream, but my voice caught in my throat. The figure reached down and grabbed me by the arm, pulling me to my feet. It led me through the forest, its grip tight on my arm.

We emerged from the trees into a clearing, and I saw that the figure was not human. Its face was twisted and grotesque, with eyes that glowed red in the darkness. It led me to a small cabin in the middle of the clearing, and pushed me inside.

The cabin was old and decrepit, with cobwebs covering the walls and floor. The figure locked the door behind us, and I knew that I was trapped. It began to speak to me, in a voice that sounded like it came from the depths of hell itself.

“You have entered my domain,” it said. “You are now mine to do with as I please.”

I screamed and tried to run, but the figure was too fast. It grabbed me and pulled me back, its grip like iron. I was trapped, alone with this creature in the middle of the forest.

The dream continued on in this way, a never-ending nightmare that left me waking up in a cold sweat. Even now, as I sit here in my bed, I can still feel the terror of that midnight dream.
